Individual vocal coaching for singers and performers who want a reliable, expressive voice that can meet the demands of studio, stage and camera.
THE VOICE IS AN INSTRUMENT — BUT IT IS ALSO PERSONAL
I work with the voice as a whole: technique, musicality, interpretation, physical freedom and the ability to stay connected to the material while performing.
My approach is shaped by decades of experience on stage, in recording studios, live television, backing vocals, artist development and vocal coaching. The goal is not to make every voice sound the same, but to help each singer understand how their own instrument works — and use it with greater freedom, stability and confidence.
WHAT WE WORK ON
Vocal technique & coordination
Crafting a reliable instrument through breath, register coordination, resonance, articulation and vocal stamina.
Musicality & interpretation
Phrasing, rhythm, dynamics, stylistic choices and understanding what the song actually needs.
Live & studio performance
Using the voice differently when working with a microphone, recording in the studio, performing live or in front of a camera.
Voice in movement
Learning to sing while moving and performing without sacrificing breath, stability or intonation.
Individual artistic identity
Developing a recognisable, authentic sound rather than fitting every singer into the same vocal template.
WHO I WORK WITH
I work with singers and performers at different stages of their professional path — from emerging artists to experienced vocalists preparing for specific projects.
My coaching can be especially useful for artists working towards recording sessions, live performances, television, auditions or other situations where the voice needs to remain reliable under real performance conditions.
I also work with singers who want to understand their instrument more deeply, make informed technical choices and retain their individual sound.
HOW I WORK
Every voice is different, so I do not teach from a fixed formula.
We begin with the singer in front of me: how the voice functions, what already works, where effort may be getting in the way and what the current artistic or professional task requires.
A session may combine technical work, repertoire, interpretation, microphone technique, movement or preparation for a specific performance or recording. We work on what is actually needed — not exercises for the sake of exercises.
My aim is to help singers understand their own instrument well enough to recognise what is happening, make their own informed technical and artistic choices based on what their voice can do at that stage, and use the skills they already have to express the musical idea and character of a song.
INDIVIDUAL COACHING
Individual sessions are shaped around you as a singer — your voice, your music and the specific task at hand.
Sometimes the focus is a particular song, an upcoming recording, audition, concert or performance. Sometimes it is a recurring situation in which your voice responds differently from what you expect, and you want to understand why.
Together, we look not only at your voice itself, but also at the conditions around it — what you hear on stage, how you hear yourself through the monitors, where you are positioned, which instruments and voices surround you, how you move, and what the performance demands of you. Sometimes a small practical adjustment is enough to improve the situation significantly — and turn performing into something lighter, easier and genuinely enjoyable.
STAY WITH YOUR OWN VOICE
The song. The performance. The project. Or simply curiosity about the voice itself. Sometimes that is enough to begin.
